Leading The Way on Cape Cod Program
The goal of Leading the Way is to prepare
teens for leadership roles in the 21st century. To achieve
this goal, Leading the Way has identified four important
objectives for teenagers' success:
- Strengthen academic skills
- Develop personal leadership skills
- Facilitate access to resources
- Build community connections
Leading the Way is closely connected
to the Future Business and Technology Leaders Initiative,
a project that focuses on the students working and applying
technology to become future entrepreneurs and leaders
in Boston. Brenda J. MartÃnez, Chief Operating Officer
of AccuComp Enterprises, and former Assistant Deputy Commissioner
for the City of Boston, designed this exceptional program.
Deborah Ward, the Executive Director of the Future Business
and Technology Leaders Initiative, is one of the counselors
of LWCCP. FLBTLI has over 100 graduates and has been operating
for four years.
